Miftah lauds Bank of China’s role in economic progress of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Miftah Ismail lauded the contributions of Bank of China (BoC) in financial and economic progress of Pakistan.

He made these remarks during a meeting with Country Head and CEO Bank of China Pakistan Operations Wang Jie, who called on him at the Finance Division, said a press release.

In the meeting, they also exchanged views on current international and regional economic situation besides discussing Pakistan’s economy and the policy to attract foreign direct investment (FDI).

The CPEC also came under discussion where both parties acknowledged that the corridor will further cement the bilateral economic and fraternal relations between Pakistan and China and bring prosperity for both the countries.
