Minister of Ports and Shipping Hasil Bizenjo reviews progress on mega projects at KPT

KARACHI: Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Senator Hasil Khan Bizenjo has chaired a high level meeting to review the ongoing mega projects at KPT.

Federal Secretary Port and Shipping Khalid Pervaiz, Director General Ports and Shipping Asad Rafi Chandaana, Chairman Karachi Port Trust Vice Admiral Shafqat Jawed beside other shareholders and stakeholders were also present in the meeting.

The minister was briefed on the port infrastructure and operations. Various ongoing development projects like deep water container port, reconstruction of berths, cable stay bridge and cargo village were discussed. Hasil Bazinjo was apprised about the latest position status of ongoing mega projects of the Karachi Port Trust.

Senator Bazinjo showed keen interest in the ongoing port development projects and conveyed full support of his ministry towards realization of all the mega development projects of the KPT.

Later, the Chairman Karachi Port Trust ® Vice Admiral Shafqat Jawed presented the souvenir to the Minister of Ports and Shipping Senator Hasil Bazinjo which concluded the proceedings at the head office of the Karachi Port Trust.
