Minister Ports, Shipping Hasil Bezinjo visits Port Bin Qasim, takes briefing on administration

KARACHI: Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Hasil Khan Bazinjo assures full support to the Port Bin Qasim Labour Union in resolution of their problems.

According to the details, Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Hasil Khan Bazinjo reached Port Bin Qasim with a high level delegation. He visited several important facilities of the port and was given detailed briefing on the administrative issues.

The labour union of the Port Bin Qasim held a protest during the visit of the federal minister. The activist of the labour union were wearing black armbands and stage a protest against the privatization of two berths of the port.

The administration of the Port Bin Qasim quickly removed the banner stating the sentences against the federal government. Two days ago the Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Senator Hasil Khan Bazinjo chaired the high level meeting on the ongoing mega projects of the KPT.

The federal minister was briefed about the port infrastructure and operations. Various ongoing development projects like deep water container port, reconstruction of berths, cable stay bridge and cargo village were discussed. The Fedeal Minister Hasil Bazinjo was apprised about the latest position status of ongoing mega projects of the Karachi Port Trust.
