Mission of DC Abdul Qadoos will be continued: Member Customs Agha Jawwad

KARACHI: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Member Customs Operations Agha Jawwad has said that the culprits involved in the brutal killing of Deputy Collector Preventive Quetta Customs Dr. Abdul Qudoos will soon be arrested.

Addressing the condolence seminar conducted in Customs House after the martyrdom of Deputy Collector Preventive Quetta Customs Dr. Abdul Qudoos, Member Customs Agha Jawwad hailed his overall performance during his deployment at different posts.

Member Customs Agha Jawwad said that every officer and staff witnessed that Deputy Collector Preventive Quetta Customs Dr. Abdul Qudoos was a loyal, hard worker who used to work round the clock for the betterment of the department as well as managed to restrict the smuggling during several attempts.

Dr. Abdul Qudoos held important post in Pakistan Customs and stopped the heinous crime of smuggling in a befitting manner, ‘we acknowledge his performance and all should follow him to root out the menace of smuggling from the country’.

On 2nd July Deputy Collector Preventive Quetta Customs Dr. Abdul Qudoos was returning home after conducting a successful operation against the smugglers when he was brutally attacked, informed the Member Customs.

‘We have shortage of staff but even with shortage of manpower he fought against the enemy of the country bravely, it’s right time that we have to prove ourselves and perform our duties in well manner in different parts of the country,’ he asserted.

He further stated that the martyrdom of Deputy Collector Preventive Quetta Customs Dr. Abdul Qudoos will not be wasted, ‘we are with his family, the mission of Dr. Abdul Qudoos Shaikh will be continued and soon the culprits will be behind the bars’.
