TOKYO: Mitsubishi has put out a short teaser trailer video on Youtube providing the first official look of 2016 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. The car has been seen before in spy shots and patent images but the new video which was released for Thailand gives us much more information about how the car will look.
The 2016 Pajero Sport which is set to get its debut on August 1 features the new ‘Dynamic Shield’ styling on the front end, which has previously been seen in Mitsubishi’s Outlander also. The car has been given a futuristic look with taillights coming all the way to down to the bottom of the tailgate.
The 2016 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is based on is based on the company’s Triton and will rival the newly launched Toyota Fortuner.
The engine specs and other details for the car are not out yet but the current generation Pajero Sport carries a 2.5-litre common-rail diesel engine that generates 136 PS of power.
