LONDON: Xiaomi’s upcoming MIUI 7 ROM is now available via port much ahead of the public rollout. It gives an opportunity to those who do not have a Xiaomi handset to run the operating system, which the Chinese firm made available for a set of Mi and Redmi series devices via global beta ROM.

Members of the MIUI China Forum Porting team have brought the MIUI 7 to a host of third party devices including Android-powered handsets from Google, Sony, HTC, Samsung and LG. The porting was performed with the updated Patchrom tool for MIUI 7.

The port is available for a total of 69 devices and the download links are up now. It is a China ROM and ported versions have not been tested by MIUI officially. Users are advised to proceed only if they have fair knowledge about flashing Chinese ROMs. Also, expect bugs with the installation. IBTimes UK will not be held responsible for any damage to the device during the process.
