Mobilink joins hands with Apple for launching iPhone 6 series

ISLAMABAD: Following the footsteps of three other telecommunication carriers, Mobilink is going to lunch iPhone 6 Series in partnership with Apple.
Thanks to the partnership, the customers will be able to get IPhone 6 device of their choice from Mobilink Business Centers across the country.
The customers who’ll purchase iPhone 6 from Mobilink will get 3G internet services free of cost for a period of six months, the Head of Marketing Mobilink, Wasif Mustafa, said while speaking in the launch ceremony.
“Mobilink’s partnership with Apple is an ideal combination for voice and data users in Pakistan as this partnership extends an opportunity of renewed technology experience on the country’s largest and most robust mobile internet network,” he said.
“This partnership manifests Mobilink’s strategy of introducing latest technology for its customers and opens new vistas for future partnerships and alliances between the two organizations,” he said.
“I am confident that our customers will benefit from Apple’s official representation in Pakistan and enjoy Mobilink’s high-speed 3G internet services on the latest iPhone series.’’
IPhone 6 series will be available at all Mobilink Business Centers at these prices from Thursday with a starting price of Rs81,499.
Warid Telecom, Telenor and Ufone have also signed deals with Apple to launch iPhone 6 series in the country and will also put their devices on sale at their business centres from Thursday. All of these companies had already started accepting pre-orders for the devices.
Pakistan fifth telecommunication carrier Zong, for the time being, has opted not to go for iPhone craze for but it is expected to get into the fray later on.
Though IPhone devices were not officially available in Pakistan, a market with more than fifteen million smartphone users, up to now, they were being shipped through grey market and sold at much expensive rate than their original price.
