Money Laundering scam: LHC to hear bail plea of Ayyan Ali today

ISLAMABAD: A divisional bench of the Lahore High Court will hear bail plea of super model Ayyan Ali on July 14, 2015 (today).

Lawyers of Ayyan Ali filed a new application after rejecting a previous bail application by LHC single bench. It is pertinent to mention here that Customs Special Court earlier rejected the bail application of Ayyan Ali. Now the application is being heard by two member divisional bench of the Lahore High Court. There are chances that super model may get interim bail from the Court, Sources told Customs Today.

On the other hand proceedings of Customs Court could not be take place as Judge of Special Court Rana Aftab were on leave now the Court will start proceedings against Ayyan Ali on July 27th, 2015.

Ayyan Ali was produced in the Court amid tight security but Judge put off the hearing till July 27. Lawyers sources disclosed to this correspondent that if Ayyan Ali succeeded in getting bail she will barred to leave the country.

Moreover, Lahore High Court accepts application to present miscellaneous documents before Court and all these documents will be make  part of Ayyan Ali case. Two member divisional bench headed by Justice Anwarul Haq heard the case.
