More than 100 customs officials to perform duty as polling officers today

LAHORE: More than one hundred customs staff will perform their election duty today on 25th July 2018 as presiding officers.

According to the details, General Elections 2018 are being held in Pakistan today as on 25th July 2018. The Election Commission of Pakistan distributed work among staff of different government department.

Election Commission of Pakistan also assigned duties to staff of customs department to perform duty on the polling stations.

The customs officers and officials are appointed as presiding officers, assistant presiding officers and polling officers on the polling stations.

The staff from customs department already completed training from the Election Commission of Pakistan to perform specific duty.

The commission also pays remuneration of three day to the all staff. It is pertaining to mentioned here the Government of Pakistan also announced national holiday in the country due to general elections.
