PARIS: The cash was shoved into the base of four wedge-style heels and wrapped into bundles of 500 Euro notes
A woman has had two pairs of high heels ripped open by airport officials after acting suspiciously when she arrived on a flight.
The money was shoved into the base of four wedge-style heels and wrapped into bundles of 500 Euro notes. Agents of the National Police in Colombia stopped the 29-year-old Dutch woman.
She had landed at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport from Brussels to Medellin hiding the money inside four shoes that were inside her suitcase. She also had 5,950 euros in her handbag.
