NEW YORK: The Nexus 6 is starting to become a more widely available device at last, and for those still looking to get their hands on Google’s famous flagship, we have some good news. All varieties of the Nexus 6 are now officially available on Motorola’s online store, which is something we’ve been waiting for, for a long time.

You can currently get the 32/64GB Nexus 6 under two color options (black and white) for $649 (32GB) and $699 (64GB). Motorola says that shipping will start early next year, so you won’t have to wait a long time either. The flagship has been a very sought-after device ever since it was released, due to Android 5.0 Lollipop making its debut on this device and its sibling, the Nexus 9. Stocks quickly ran out, in some cases under three minutes, and then it was a real battle to actually get a Nexus 6. As a response, Google started restocking their Play Store as often as possible to make sure that everyone had a fair chance to get the device. Even though Motorola claims that shipping starts on January the 6th, you shouldn’t get too excited, as shipment dates can always get postponed, and there is a precedent here.

Google Nexus 6Putting the operating system aside, it’s no wonder that Motorola’s device became so popular. The Nexus 6 packs a fantastic 6-inch Quad HD display with dual front-facing speakers, a 13MP primary shooter, and a smashing 3,220mAh battery that can deliver up to 24 hours of usage per charge, coming equipped with Motorola’s Turbo Charger, that promises 6 hours of battery life with only 15 minutes of charging time. Other tech specs include a 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 with four cores, 3GB of RAM, and a 2MP frontal shooter. All in all, it definitely impressed us when it was initially released, and remains one of the highest quality Android devices on the market, so if you’re looking to buy one, head over to Motorola.com right now.
