Powered by a 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor and Adreno 420 GPU, the phone has 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

One of the highlights of the phone is its big capacity 3900mAh battery and turbo-charging feature that provides up to eight hours of power in 15 minutes of charging.

It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and is expected to be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Motorola Maxx sports a 21MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera.

In terms of connectivity, the phone supports 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and 4G. Moto Maxx also incorporates the same Moto software experiences that are available on Moto X including same voice commands and active display.
