MTBA elects Abdul Sattar as President & Riaz Raja as GS

MULTAN: Multan Tax Bar Association (MTBA) has elected Abdul Sattar as President, Riaz Raja as General Secretary and Muhammad Imran Ghazi as Vice President in Multan Tax Bar Association election for calendar year 2019-20.

Multan Tax Bar Association elections were held in the Regional Tax Office where two different groups of Advocate Abdul Sattar and Advocate Khalid Ansari contested against each other in the election calendar 2019-20.

According to Chief Election Commissioner, there were total 225 votes cast in the presidential seat. Winning candidate Advocate Abdul Sattar secured 115 votes against 106 votes of runners-up candidate Advocate Khalid Ansari.

General Secretary Candidate Advocate Raja obtained 113 votes against candidate Imran Nawaz who took 105 votes in the Multan Tax Bar Association election.

Vice President Muhammad Younas Ghazi secured 112 votes against opponent candidate Advocate Ameen Pal who got 107 votes in the polling of Multan Tax Bar Association election.

Joint Secretary Harris Talat won his seat in election by securing 120 votes and his opponent Safdar Ansari got 96 votes in polling.

Finance secretary Kanwar Tanvir got 132 votes against his candidate Muhammad Siddique who obtained 85 votes.  Executive Members Rehan Khan, Farasat Ali, Ishfaque Ahmad and Tahir Shah also elected successfully in the Multan Tax Bar Association election 2019-20.
