Muhammad Hanif Khan elected as Sialkot dry port chairman

SIALKOT: Sialkot-based exporters Muhammad Hanif Khan and Mian Usman Javed have been elected as chairman and senior vice chairman of Sialkot dry port.

Dry port official told Customs Today that Muhammad Hanif Khan was the president of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI). Addressing the participants, Muhammad Hanif Khan and Mian Usma Javed vowed to make efforts for upgrading of the dry port and promotion of Sialkot exports by offering incentives to businessmen.

They said that the exporters and importers of above mention dry port to be increase because the it is best dry port for trade. They said that the staff of the dry port and Customs Department have good collaboration to boost the trade.

They said that they will provide facilities to employees as per rules and regulations after meeting with all directors. They assured that the dry port is back bone to improve trade in Gujranwala Region.

The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce And Industry (SCCI) Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) and Gujrat Chamber Of Commerce And Industry (GCCI) are good helper of the dry port.

Collector Ahmed Reza Khan has congratulated to new elected chairman and senior vice chairman of the said dry port while he hoped that the newly elected office bearers will helpful for improving trade.

He said that the SDPT is in good book of FBR and government of Pakistan whereas the Chairman and Vice Chairman should make more strong SDPT to earn foreign exchange by the export
