The SCCI hosted a prestigious welcoming ceremony at SCCI Auditorium in honour of the newly elected SIAL office-bearers. SCCI President Fazal Jillani, SVP Mir Alamgir Meyer, VP Malik Naseer Ahmed, Pakistan Gloves Manufactures and Exporters Association Chairman Muhammad Younas and SVC Sheikh Ejaz Ahmed Jammu were also present.

Addressing the participants, SIAL newly elected Chairman Mian Muhammad Riaz pledged to make efforts to make the Sialkot International Airport as a model airport of Pakistan and Asia as well.

Riaz said that the airport had been a hallmark of sincerity, dedication, enthusiasm and unity of the Sialkot exporters, who had established it on self help basis.

He said that the airport had a great potential of doubling the city exports from  persisting $1.8 billion annually, besides opening new vistas of socio-economic and human development  in Pakistan’s first ever “golden export triangle” comprising Sialkot, Gujrat and Gujranwala districts as well.
