Multan Adjudication finalizes 30 seizure cases worth Rs37.864m in June

MULTAN: Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office has finalized 30 various seizure cases of worth Rs37.864 million for the duration of June during the current Fiscal Year 2016-17.

According to details, Deputy Collector Customs Adjudication Farhat Ali has concluded 18 various seizure cases of worth Rs10.10 million after their trial during the month of June. These decided seizure cases involved cloths, auto parts, liquor, vehicle and other goods. Customs Intelligence and Investigation and Anti-Smuggling Organization have formed these seizure cases in their various actions in the jurisdiction. Deputy Collector Farhat Ali has decided all seizure cases in the favor of department after completion of their hearing. There were 41 new seizure cases of worth Rs.28.950 million added for trial in the month of June.

Additional Collector Customs Adjudication Talib Hussain has decided 10 different seizure cases of worth Rs.14.90 million during the month of June. Additional Collector has settled more seizure cases of smuggled vehicles formed by Customs Intelligence and Anti-Smuggling Organization in their actions. As many as 21 new seizure cases of worth Rs.37.962 million added for trial in the Court of Additional Collector during the month of June.

Collector Customs Adjudication Mirza Mubashir Baig has decided only two seizure cases of worth Rs.12.864 million in June after proceedings. Collector has decided tax evasion case of Suncrop Limited which was detected in the Post clearance audit of import consignment from importer. There were six new fresh seizure cases of worth Rs.31.052 million added in the Customs Adjudication Multan Camp throughout the month of June in the fiscal year 2016-17.
