Multan Adjudication finalizes 63 seizure cases worth Rs257.124m during June

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office has finalized 63 cases of worth Rs257.124 million during the month of June.

According to details, Deputy Collector Adjudication Abdul Mueed Kanjoo concluded hearing of 19 seizure cases involving Rs24.348 million after their trial during the month of June.

These decided seizure cases involved cloth, vehicles, auto parts, liquor and other different goods. Customs Intelligence and Investigation and Anti-Smuggling Organization have formed these seizure cases.

Deputy collector has decided all seizure cases in the favour of department after completion of their hearing. There were 25 new seizure cases of worth Rs.20.304 million added for trial in the month of June.

Additional Collector Adjudication Sumaira Omer has resolved almost 22 various seizure cases of worth Rs37.900 million during the month of June. Additional Collector settled seizure cases of smuggled vehicles and miscellaneous goods seized by Customs Intelligence and Investigation and Anti-Smuggling Organization.

As many as 15 new seizure cases of worth Rs26.550 million added for trial in the court of additional collector during the month of June.

Collector Customs Adjudication Dr. Akhtar Hussain has decided 22 seizure cases worth Rs194.876 million in June after proceedings. There were 11 new fresh seizure cases added in the Customs Adjudication for hearing formed by Customs Intelligence and Anti-Smuggling Organization includes the revenue of Rs103.491 million throughout the month of June in fiscal year 2019-20.

Customs Adjudication Multan Camp office has decided 63 seizure cases of Rs257.124 million for their legal proceedings during June.
