Multan Adjudication settles 156 seizure cases involving Rs1934.556m

MULTAN:  Collectorate of Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office has settled 156 seizure cases involving Rs1934.556 million during the month of March 2020-21.

The Collectorate of Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office has done speedy disposal of 156 different seizure cases framed by Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) and Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation during their various actions. Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office has issued Order-in-Original (ONO) in the 156 various seizure cases after completion of legal proceedings on the basis of presented facts.

Deputy Collector Customs Adjudication Multan Abdul Mueed Kanjoo settled almost 63 various seizure cases of worth Rs.39.637 million throughout March after concluding legal proceedings. Deputy collector Abdul Mueed Kanjoo settled all seizure cases in the favour of Customs department after measuring evidences. Almost 22 fresh seizure cases of Rs.14.177 million have been added in the month of March in the Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office.

Additional Collector Customs Adjudication Sumaira Omer decided 18 various seizure cases of worth Rs.33.759 million throughout the month of March 2020-21.Additional Collector has settled all said seizure cases in the favor of Customs after observing facts during trial in March. Near about 4 new seizure cases of Rs.8 million were added for trial in the court of Additional Collector Adjudication during March.

Collector Adjudication Asif Buzdar settled almost 75 different seizure cases of worth Rs.1861.160 million for the duration of March. All these seizure cases were decided in the favor of Customs department. These decided seizures were against violation of rule, smuggling, misuse of DTRE export facility cases, petroleum and others. As many as 18 different seizure cases of worth Rs.169.490 million was added during said month for legal trial.
