Multan ASO confiscates 120 pieces of clothes iron

MULTAN: The Customs Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) has seized the imported clothes iron worth Rs 400,000 during an action in the Multan City.

According to the details, ASO conducted an operation to seize the smuggled items at the warehouse of a goods transportation company located near Vehari Road, Multan.

While searching the warehouse, Anti-Smuggling Organization staff found 120 pieces of imported irons packed in ten cartons. The origin of the smuggled iron was Malaysia.

The ASO team asked the owner of the transportation company to show documents of the items but he remained fail to do so on which the customs took the press irons into the custody.

Officials told that further investigations are underway, in this regard.
