Multan ASO detains non-customs paid vehicle after forensic laboratory test‏

MULTAN: The Customs Anti-Smuggling Organization has detained a non-customs paid vehicle after forensic laboratory test.

According to details, Anti-Smuggling Organization has detained a Toyota Fielder vehicle from Sher Shah Bypass  with forged registration number. Customs team took the vehicle into custody on suspicion and decided to conduct laboratory analysis of the vehicle. The owner of the vehicle produced documents regarding possession of the Toyota Fielder after detention of vehicle.

Superintendent Anti-Smuggling Organization Shahid Noor after discussion decided to find forensic report of the said vehicle to wipe out confusions because the registration number of the vehicle could not be identified through documents provided by the owner .

During the forensic examination of the vehicle Toyota Fielder proved tampered and Anti-Smuggling Organization also decided to seize the vehicle in the light of report.

The total worth of the seized Toyota Fielder Vehicle is almost Rs 1.5 million. Now the ASO will forwarded the seizure case to Customs Adjudication for further legal proceedings.
