The contraband was discovered at the BMP Check Post Rakhi Gajj in District Dera Ghazi Khan during a routine check. Acting on the directives of Collector Customs Syed Imran Sajjad Bukhari, the Multan Customs collaborated closely with the Baluchistan Military Police (BMP) to execute the operation.

During the examination of a Hino truck bearing registration number TKB-655/Quetta, the customs team recovered approximately 13,575 kilograms of shopping bags and 30 Light Truck Vehicle (LTV) tyres.

This successful operation highlights the ongoing efforts of the Customs Collectorate Enforcement in Multan to curb smuggling activities in the region through effective collaboration with law enforcement agencies.

Further investigations regarding seized goods were still under way.
