Multan ASO impounds two smuggled vehicles worth Rs 3.5 million

MULTAN: The Customs Anti-Smuggling Organisation (ASO) has impounded two smuggled vehicles worth Rs 3.5 million during operations.

Following the instructions of Additional Deputy Collector Faizan Badar, the Anti-Smuggling Organisation team raided a bungalow and recovered a smuggled vehicle Mark-X bearing registration number AQU­-999 worth Rs 2.5 million.

Besides, the Anti-Smuggling Organisation impounded another smuggled vehicle Vitara Jeep bearing registration number BC -3419 worth Rs 1 million in another operation.

The Anti-Smuggling Organisation team comprising Malik Tanvir, Ghulam Asghar, Fayaz and Arshad conducted the operation against the smuggled vehicles. The ASO has lodged separate FIRs against the accused, while further investigation is underway.
