Multan Chamber to organize “Multan Trade Carnival” for promotion of local businesses

MULTAN: Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry will organize three days “Multan Trade Carnival” for the promotion of local businesses in the region.

The purpose of organizing Multan Trade Carnival is to give opportunity to business community of South Punjab who can’t approach to market and buyers directly and it will be organized on 22nd, 23rd and 24th December  at Multan Chamber of Commerce  and Industry  MCCI House in collaboration with Trade Development of Pakistan (TDAP).

President of Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Malik Asrar Ahmed Awan, former presidents Khawaja Muhammad Yousaf, Vice President Khawaja Muhammad Farooq , Khawaja Muhammad Hussain, Aurangzeb Alamgir said that maximum number of women would be accommodate in this carnival to introduce their expertise.

This event is being organized with the collaboration of entrepreneurs, Small Medium Enterprises along with SMEDA, AAhan, NPO, traders, manufacturers, corporate sector, service sector and different brands.

Said participants of Multan Trade Carnival will explore new avenues and opportunities for enhancing their businesses with the help of Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry along with different government departments.

Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry is hoping that thousands of visitors including foreign consuls of different foreign embassies, chief executives, importers, exporters will throng to see this trade carnival and it will promote business of small medium enterprises.

President MCCI Malik Asrar Awan said that it would be an unique exhibition where more than100 stalls for display of products of textiles, agriculture, energy, handicrafts, telecom, food & beverages, leather & footwear, electronics and home appliances, boutiques and brands, beauty and cosmetics, jewellery and fashion, furniture and home ware, local and national arts & crafts, interior decoration, healthcare and nutrition, service sector and others.

He said that this event would open the doors to new horizons, markets for SMEs and entrepreneurs and it will provide golden opportunity to beneficiaries to build their relations with business professional, develop and evaluate potential market in Multan for renowned brands, face to face dialogues with business prospects and customers, Promotional opportunities for brands, products, services in potential market of South Punjab.

He said that business people of this area should grow their networking and would avail partnership opportunities, they can improve their market understanding, knowledge and strategy through Multan Trade Carnival.

He was optimistic that skilled persons, artists, craftsmen and business men and women would take part in this even from Karachi, Peshawar, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Gilgit, Baltistan, Baluchistan and other parts of country. All chambers of South Punjab including Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur, Khanewal, Sahiwal, Dera Ghazi Khan and Muzaffargarh will also participate in this event and will showcase their stall in the Multan Trade Carnival.
