Multan Customs cancels monthly auction of confiscated vehicles & goods

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement & Compliance (E&C) cancelled the monthly auction of confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods.

According to details, Collectorate of Customs Enforcement & Compliance announced auction of confiscated vehicles and goods. Multan Customs cancelled the auction after facing various issues. All arrangement of auction was almost finalized but Customs Collectorate decided to postpone the monthly auction.

Multan Customs Collectorate has given advertisement about auction in the newspaper and displayed banners outside the office for awareness of auction. As many as 56 vehicles were offered for public auction including Toyota Hilux Surf, Toyota Corolla X, Mercedes Benz, Suzuki Swift, Toyota Vitz ,Toyota Corolla “G, Toyota Fielder and others .

Multan Customs cancelled the auction of vehicles and miscellaneous goods after several legal issues of vehicles and miscellaneous goods.

Collector Imran Ahmad Chaudhry cancelled auction after observing certain facts and informed Auctioneer Muhammad Akram along with participants about decision. Multan Customs cancelled the auction with a purpose that large number of people can participate in the public sale for generation of handsome revenue.
