Multan Customs assigned Rs 3735m target for November

MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) assigned Rs.3735 million revenue collection target for the month of November 2016-17 to Customs Collectorate.

Sources told Customs Today that FBR has assigned Rs593 million as revenue collection target under the head of customs duty to MCC Multan for the on-going fiscal year 2016-17 while Multan Customs were given collection target of Rs.1233.2 million for the month of November during previous economic year. The Federal Board of Revenue has revised the Multan Customs target for collection of customs duty after witnessing drop in their import consignments during the last few months.

The Collectorate of Multan Customs allocated collection target of Rs.3115 million under the head of sales tax during the month of November of the present fiscal year 2016-17. Although Multan Customs were allotted revenue target of sales tax Rs.2443.11 million for November of previous economic fiscal year 2015-16.

The Customs Collectorate Multan has been set revenue collection of federal excise duty (FED) of almost Rs13 million for November in the on-going financial year 2016-17. While Customs Collectorate were assigned revenue collection target of federal excise duty (FED) of Rs.36 million in November of the previous monetary year 2015-16.

Multan Customs allotted Rs14 million as revenue collection target under the head of withholding for the period of November in the on-going economic year 2016-17 while Customs Multan were assigned target of Rs.70.69 million for the collection Withholding taxes in the Fiscal Year 2016-17.
