Multan Customs collects Rs4386.173m in November

MULTAN: The Model Customs Collectorate collected Rs4386.173 million during the month of November of Fiscal Year 2017-18.

The Collectorarte of Multan Customs was assigned Rs4554.64 million revenue collection target from Federal Board of Revenue for the month of November while it collected Rs.4386.173 million against the set target.

Multan Customs Collectorate collected revenue under the heads of customs duty, sales tax, income tax and federal excise duty (FED) during the above said period. It collected Rs1064.837 million under customs duty against the set target of Rs1149.020 million during month of November of the on-going fiscal year 2017-18.Multan Customs collected Customs duty of almost 92.7 % revenue during November 2017-18.

The Model Customs Collectorate has collected Rs.3266.569 million sales taxes against the assigned revenue collection target of Rs3357.92 in the November of monetary year 2017-18.

It collected Rs.30.820 millions in wake of federal excise duty tax during the month of November against the set target of Rs.28.89 million. The Collectorate of Customs collected more than 100 % collection and it showed almost 6.75 percent growths in the revenue collection during November.

The Collectorate of Customs collected Rs.21.837 million against set revenue collection target of Rs.18.81 million during November of fiscal year 2017-18.Multan Customs has collected additional sales tax of Rs.2.110 million for the duration of November 2017-18.

However, Multan Customs collected was able to collect Rs4045.407 million overall revenue during the corresponding economic year 2017 18 due to effective strategy of Collectorate.
