Multan Customs collects Rs75.33m customs duty in November

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement has collected  Rs75.33 million under the heads of Customs duty during month of November 2022-23.     

Multan Customs Enforcement was assigned Rs6 5.100 millions of Customs duty collection task for the month of November 2022-23. Multan Customs made customs duty collection of almost Rs75.33 million in wake of Customs duty against the assigned collection revenue task of Customs duty during the month of November during financial year 2022-23.

Multan Customs Collectorate collected almost 116 % of assigned Customs duty task during the period of November. According to statistics available with The Customs today, substantial increase in revenue generation of Multan Customs was recorded due to strict supervision and planned strategy of Collector Tahir Ali.

Multan Customs Collectorate Collected Rs.72.12 million in wake of Customs duty during the corresponding year. Multan Customs Collectorate has collected almost Rs.3.21 million surplus Customs duty from the corresponding fiscal year 2021-22.While Multan Customs collected almost Rs263.81 million during first five months of fiscal year 2022-23.

Multan Customs has collected almost Rs.156.08 million Customs duty during corresponding financial year 2022-23. The data cited that in November custom duty of Rs.3.21 million was raised under the supervision of Collector Tahir Ali due to his effective strategy.

Multan Customs Collectorate showed 69 percent growth in the collection of Customs duty in terms of corresponding economic year 2021-22. Customs duty collection was enhanced due to brilliant strategy designed by Collector Tahir Ali.
