Multan Customs detains dry batteries ,cloth, welding electrode‏

MULTAN: The Customs Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) has raided railway train and detained dry batteries, cloth and welding electrode.

According to details, the Customs teams received information that the train, which departed from Multan, has suspected goods. An ASO team chased the train and seized the goods at the Khanewal Station.

During examination of the loaded goods, customs teams found imported dry batteries, welding electrodes and cloths. Customs asked railway cargo authorities to provide information about the said goods but they found that someone loaded the goods from Sindh. The Customs teams took the goods in to their custody and asked authorities to provide details of owners.

Customs teams detained the said goods for their verification. Owner will be directed to submit import documents of the goods. Further investigation are still under process .
