Multan Customs earns Rs.31.5m revenue through auction in December

MULTAN: The Customs Collectorate generated Rs.31.5 million revenue through auction of impounded vehicles and miscellaneous goods during December 2016.

The Collectorate of the Multan Customs has organized public sale of seized vehicles and goods for generation of revenue in the Customs House. Multan Customs has offered nine various non-customs paid vehicles in the auction. The vehicles presented in the auction includes Toyota Caldina ,Toyota Town Ace, Toyota Premio, Toyota Hiace,Toyota Corolla Vitz  and others.

Multan Customs has disposed 8 presented vehicles of worth Rs 11.4 million during auction process. Only Toyota Hiace vehicle were rejected due to fewer price than average price evaluated by the Federal Board of Revenue.

There were 29 lots offered of different articles including foreign origin blankets, grease, art silk cloth, welding electrode, re-roll-able scrap, auto scrap, old and used telephone sets of various auto parts, plastic rolls, CCTV cameras, LEDs ,tyres and other items.

Multan Customs has sold out 11 lots of goods worth Rs.20.14 million during the auction. All auction items including vehicles and various articles were seized by the Anti-Smuggling Organization of Multan Customs.

The auction held in the Multan Customs were supervised by Additional Collector Muhammad Ismail, Assistant Collector Zohaib Sandhila and auctioneer Muhammad Akram proceed the auction of goods and vehicles.
