Multan Customs earns Rs 4.5 million through auction of vehicles, goods

MULTAN: The Model Customs Collectorate has generated Rs 4.5 million through auction of confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous items.

According to the details, Multan Customs held open bid ceremony for the confiscated vehicles and goods at Customs House in which numbers of people participated. The vehicles were remained a part of attraction throughout the auction process. Nine smuggled vehicles and one heavy bike were presented in the auction, while only four vehicles including Range Rover, Jeep, Toyota Corolla X and Toyota Vitz attracted suitable bids.

The customs collected Rs 4.5 million against the auction of vehicles and foreign origin miscellaneous goods including auto parts, tyres, clutch plates, old and used circuit breaker and DVD players.

All the presented vehicles and items, which were offered for auction, had been seized by Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) during different actions.
