Multan Customs earns Rs8.475m through auction of vehicles & goods

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs earned Rs8.475 million through auction of confiscated goods and vehicles lying at State Warehouse.

According to details, Multan Customs offered eight confiscated vehicles in the second monthly auction and sold out 7 out of presented vehicles. These vehicles were belonged to different brands and models including Toyota Land Cruiser Cygnus, Toyota Altis, Toyota Hilux Surf, Toyota Vitz, Honda Civic, Suzuki Pick Up and others.

These confiscated vehicles were sold out in Rs7.62 million from auction of vehicles. All confiscated vehicles were impounded by Anti-Smuggling Organization in their different actions from jurisdiction and they disposed for auction after proper trial of seizure cases from Customs Adjudication.

Multan Customs has also sold out five lots of miscellaneous goods in Rs0.855 million during the auction.

Assistant Collector Muhammad Fahad Jamil has supervised the whole auction of confiscated goods and vehicles along with Inspector Qaiser Rasheed Khan at Multan Dry Port to ensure transparency.
