Multan Customs generates Rs5.610m revenue through auction

MULTAN: Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Range Office generate Rs5.610 million through the auction of confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods.

According to details, Customs Intelligence and Investigation conducted auction of non-customs paid vehicles and miscellaneous goods in the Customs Intelligence Office near Raja Pur Multan. There were six different lots of vehicles and 7 lots of goods presented in the auction of Customs Intelligence for public sale. People from various cities have participated in the auction for purchase of goods and vehicles.

Customs Intelligence sold out four confiscated vehicles out of six presented in the auction. Customs Intelligence sold out confiscated vehicles in Rs4.3 million during the auction. Two vehicles were rejected during the auction due to fewer price offered in the bidding process. These two discarded lots of vehicles will be presented again in the next auction after revision of their average price.

Besides confiscated vehicles, Customs Intelligence presented various lots of foreign origin heavy duty generators, HTV tyres, compressor of fridge and others. Customs intelligence has sold out two lots of tyres and compressors of fridge during auction

Deputy Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation Abdul Mueed Kanjoo supervised the public sale of non-customs paid vehicles and goods to ensure transparency.
