Multan Customs generates Rs56.64m through auction of confiscated goods & vehicles

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement and Compliance (E&C) has generated almost Rs56.64 million during auction of confiscated goods and vehicles lying at the State Warehouse.

Multan Customs Collectorate Enforcement & Compliance has carried out auction of June by selling confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods. Customs has used auction banners outside Multan Customs House to attract buyers.

Multan Customs sold out 20 foreign origin confiscated vehicles and earned almost Rs28.52 million including Toyota Vitz , Toyota Passo, Suzuki Alto, Toyota Prius, Toyota Mark , Honda Accord, Toyota Premio, Suzuki Alto, Toyota Aqua, Toyota Rush Jeep, Suzuki Swift and others. Vehicles which were rejected during auction will be presented for auction on next auction of the Collectorate.

Multan Customs has also carried out auction of miscellaneous goods in Rs28.54 million including tyres along with tubes, art silk cloth, crockery, almonds, iron pad locks, art silk cloth, glassware crockery, rani juice, ball bearings, several lots of POL Products and High Speed Diesel, different engines, spare parts, LED Lamps, computer parts ,mobile accessories, PVC sheets, wrist watch, welding electrodes, Motor engine oil, Soaps, metal cutting disc, microwave oven ,dental surgical tools, Chocolates ,machine made carpets, sofa cloths and other miscellaneous goods were rejected due to fewer prices offered during auction.

Assistant Collector Aqsa Aslam has supervised the whole auction process of confiscated goods and vehicles at Multan Dry Port along with other staff.
