Multan Customs generates Rs80.45m through auction of confiscated goods, vehicles

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Multan earned Rs80.45 million through public auction of confiscated goods and vehicles lying at the State ware House.

According to details, Multan Enforcement offered 4 confiscated vehicles in auction and sold out three vehicles. These vehicles were from different brands and models including Toyota Vitz, Hammer H3 Jeep, Suzuki Alto and Hino Ranger Truck. These confiscated vehicles were sold out in Rs4.4 million. All Confiscated vehicles offered in the auction were latest model and non-customs paid which were impounded by Anti-Smuggling Organization in their different operations.

Multan Customs also offered 24 different lots of sulphur, coal, polyester curtain cloths welding rods, parachute cloth, tyres, iron scrap, battery, submersible pump, Montra skimmed milk, Sofa set, shock absorber, hand bags, water pump motor ,five various lots of HSD and others.

Multan Customs sold seven lots of miscellaneous goods in Rs.76.04million. All bidders show interest in the bidding of cloths, skimmed milk, spare parts and vehicles in the auction.

It is important to mention here that Oil Marketing Companies were only allowed to participate in the bid of HSD in the auction. Assistant Collector Fareed ud Din Masood supervised the whole process for the auction of confiscated goods and vehicles at Multan Dry Port to ensure transparency.
