Multan Customs generates Rs91.07m through auction of vehicles & goods

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement and Compliance (E&C) has generated almost Rs91.07 million during suction of confiscated goods and vehicles lying at State Warehouse.

Multan Customs Collectorate Enforcement & Compliance has carried out auction of April by selling confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods. Customs has done publicity of auction by displaying auction banners outside Multan Customs House to attract buyers.

Multan Customs sold out 28 foreign origin confiscated vehicles and earned almost Rs.85.3 million including Toyota Vitz ,Mercedes Benz, Toyota Passo, Suzuki Alto, Toyota Prius, Toyota Mark X, BMW, Honda Accord, Toyota Premio, Toyota Coaster, Suzuki Alto, Toyota Aqua, Toyota Rush Jeep, Suzuki Swift ,Toyota Corolla G and others. Vehicles which were rejected during auction will be presented for auction on next auction of Collectorate. Multan Customs has also carried out auction of miscellaneous goods in Rs6.3 million including tyres along with tubes, art silk cloth, crockery, almonds and others.                                                                                                                                                         Almost 64 miscellaneous lots of goods including Tyres with copper, brass, used condensers, iron pad locks, art silk cloth, glassware crockery, boric acid, plastic resin, used tyres, dried apricot, white cumin seed, almonds, rani juice, ball bearings, several lots of 41000 litres POL Products and High Speed Diesel, different engines, spare parts, LED Lamps, computer parts ,mobile accessories, PVC sheets, wrist watch, welding electrodes, Motor engine oil, Soaps, metal cutting disc, microwave oven ,dental surgical tools, Chocolates ,machine made carpets, sofa cloths and other miscellaneous goods were rejected due to fewer prices offered during auction.

Assistant Collector Umer Sajjad has supervised the whole auction process of confiscated goods and vehicles at Multan Dry Port along with other staff.
