MULTAN: The Multan Customs Intelligence and Investigation officially got the custody of a non-duty paid plastic beads-laden truck worth Rs 6 million from Border Military Police (BMP) and the truck has been shifted to the Multan Customs Intelligence office near Rajapur.
As per details, the BMP intercepted a ten wheeler truck loaded with Iranian plastic beads on the information of the Customs Intelligence and on checking the BMP officials uncovered disparity in the documents as provided by the driver so the officials confiscated the truck along with the smuggled plastic beads. The expected value of the plastic beads as well as the truck is worth Rs 6 million and Rs 4 million respectively. The non-duty paid truck confiscated under Customs Act 1969.
