Multan Customs impounds NDP vehicles & goods worth Rs80m

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement has seized two non-customs paid vehicles and miscellaneous goods worth Rs.80 million during various anti-smuggling actions.         

Sources told Customs Today that Multan Customs Collectorate has carried out various crackdowns against smuggled vehicles to curb smuggling in the jurisdiction. Multan Customs Anti-Smuggling staff has thwarted several attempts of smuggling in the Jurisdiction on the basis of credible information against smuggling.

 Multan Customs Anti-Smuggling organization has enhanced the patrolling of the suspected routes to intercept the non-customs paid (NCP) vehicles. Anti-Smuggling squad of Multan Customs Collectorate has enhanced vigilance of suspected routes after special directions of Collector Dr Rehmatullah Vistro to thwart any attempt of smuggling. The Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) has alerted few crucial strategic routes to intercept any smuggling attempt.
