Multan Customs impounds non-duty paid Toyota Land Cruiser

MULTAN: The Customs Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) has impounded a foreign origin vehicle during a crackdown.

As per details, the ASO captured the non-customs paid vehicle worth Rs 17.5 million from Nawan Shehar Road.

Collector Sarfraz Ahmad Warraich received information that a non-customs paid vehicles was plying on roads. Collector directed the Anti-Smuggling Organization to take action against the suspected vehicle on the basis of the received information.  ASO Inspector Haq Nawaz along with other staff impounded the Toyota Land Cruiser having registration number BF-8790.

The owner presented fake documents about the vehicles to satisfy Customs team but after verification from the concern department Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) seized the vehicle.

The FIR of seized vehicle has been lodged after seizing it and further investigation was still under process.
