Multan Customs intelligence earns Rs 9.6 million through auction

MULTAN: Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Range Office has generated Rs 9.6 million through the auction of confiscated goods and vehicles lying in the state warehouse of the customs.

Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan organised auction which was held in the supervision of Additional Director Nisar Ahmad and Superintendent Muhammad Afzal.

Almost ten impounded vehicles were presented for the auction in the open sale at the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Range Office Multan.

Three vehicles including Toyota Land Cruiser, BMW car, and Honda Civic were rejected in the auction as the bids were not made by the participant as per the average price set by customs. However, Customs intelligence earned Rs 7.6 million through auction of other vehicles.

The remaining auction items included tyres, shampoos; alloy rims and plastic granules were auctioned against Rs 2 million.

During the auction held at the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Range office various items were rejected including rod kit, timing chain, piston, disk stick, plastic rolls, auto parts and others.

Auctioneer Muhammad Akram was conducting the auction by opening the price of various vehicles and miscellaneous goods.
