Multan Customs Intelligence earns Rs13.10m through auction

MULTAN: Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Range Office has generated Rs13.10 million from the auction of seized vehicles and miscellaneous goods.

According to details, Customs Intelligence and Investigation has conducted auction of confiscated vehicles and various articles which were seized by Field Intelligence Unit (FIU) of Customs staff in their different anti-smuggling activities with in their jurisdiction.

Customs Intelligence has offered  11 various foreign origin seized vehicles  including Toyota Corolla ,Toyota Fielder ,Toyota Vitz ,Suzuki  Swift and others in the auction. Out of these presented 11 vehicles, nine were successfully auctioned in Rs10.5 million after bidding.

The confiscated vehicles were attracting all bidders in the open public sale of Customs Intelligence and Investigations. Customs Intelligence withdrawn  the auction of  Hino Crane presented in the auction after court granted stay order to owner against the auction at the nick of movement.

During auction process, Customs Intelligence sold out various miscellaneous goods including HSD, auto parts in worth Rs2.6 million in the auction process of May.

Deputy Director Abdul Mueed Kanjoo supervised the whole auction process along with Superintendent Fareed ud Din Masood and Deputy Superintend Malik Muhammad Nasir.
