Multan Customs Intelligence forms anti-smuggling squads

MULTAN: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation –FBR has assigned special duties to employees for anti-smuggling operations on the occasion of Eid-ul- Fitr.

According to details, Deputy Director of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Khial Muhammad Khan deployed their employees in the Field Intelligence Unit (FIU) to restrain any attempt of smuggling. Smugglers will try to transport smuggled goods and vehicles on Eidul Fitr. Field staff of Customs Intelligence will remain alert in the jurisdiction.

Deputy Director Khial Muhammad Khan has directed staff to monitor the suspected routes of the jurisdiction to thwart any smuggling attempt. Special duties of Customs Intelligence & Investigation employees will start from 15th June to 17th June in four shifts.

Intelligence Officer Muhammad Umer performed his duties on 15th June (Friday) along with Zulfiqar Ali, Muhammad Afzal and Haq Nawaz. Intelligence Officer Zafar Iqbal Khan will perform his duties with Shahid Mukhtar, Haq Nawaz and Jamil Ghous on 16th June.

Intelligence Officer Javaid Bhatti will perform his duty with Haq Nawaz, Shahid Mukhtar and Naveed Akhtar on 17th June.

Similarly Intelligence Officer Haq Nawaz has been assigned duty along with Muhammad Afzal, Zulfiqar Ali and Saifullah on third day of Eid-ul-Fitr. While Senior Intelligence Officer Nasir Malik will perform supervisory charge that employees are performing their duties on Eid-ul-Fitr.
