Multan Customs Intelligence generates Rs35.4m through auction of non duty paid goods

MULTAN: Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Range Office has generated Rs 35.4 million from the auction of seized vehicles and miscellaneous goods.

According to details, Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan office has conducted auction of confiscated vehicles and different goods seized by Field Intelligence Unit (FIU) staff in their anti-smuggling activities in the jurisdiction of Customs Intelligence .

Customs Intelligence has offered 19 various foreign origin seized vehicles  including Toyota Hilux Surf,Toyota Corolla , Honda Civic, Toyota Crown, Mitsubishi Pajero ,Land Cruiser ,Toyota Feilder, Toyota Vitz and others. The confiscated vehicles were attracting all bidders during auction process.

Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan successfully sold out 19 presented various vehicles worth Rs.24.5  million during the auction. In addition to confiscated vehicles, Customs Intelligence offered almost 11 various lots of auto spare parts, dismantled vehicles, aluminium sheets, cloth, tyres, cigarettes, batteries  and other goods in auction process. During the auction process, Customs Intelligence sold out various articles in worth Rs.10.6 million in December.

Deputy Director Abdul Mueed Kanjoo supervised the whole auction process along with Superintendent Zahid Raza and Deputy Superintendent Malik Muhammad Nasir.  Auctioner Rana Muhammad Akram carried out the auction process for the public sale of vehicles and confiscated goods.

The Customs Collectorate Multan will hold auction of seized goods and vehicles on Wednesday (today) at Customs House in the supervision of Assistant Collector Zohaib Sandhila.
