MULTAN: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation has impounded a Mercedes Benz car worth Rs 1.5 million from Sadiqabad in an action.
The Customs Intelligence file investigation unit was patrolling on the road when it intercepted a vehicle bearing Registration No E-9880 near Kot Sabzal check post and asked the driver to show documents regarding the customs clearance of the vehicle.
The owner of the Mercedz Benz failed to provide any documents on which the team impounded the vehicle under the Customs Act, 1969. The value of the vehicle is estimated at Rs 1.5 million. After impounding, the vehicle has been shifted to the Customs Intelligence warehouse.
