Multan Customs Intelligence seizes 193 cell phones worth Rs 1.5m

MULTAN: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation has seized 193 mobile phones of assorted brands, Samsung, Nokia and Granny Mobiles, worth Rs 1.5 million.

As per details, a team of Customs Intelligence intercepted a bus near Sadiqabad check post and checked luggage of a passenger. During the checking, the officials recovered 193 expansive cell phones.

The officials asked the owner of the cell phones named Muhammad Hukman, a resident of Hangu, to show documents regarding the customs clearance of the cell phones but he remained failed to do the same.

Therefore, the officials confiscated the cell phones under the customs laws and registered a case against him. The estimated value of the seized android phones is Rs 1.5 million.
