Customs seizes 50 air conditioners worth Rs 10 million in Multan

MULTAN: Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan has seized 50 air conditioners worth Rs 10 million on unavailability of import documents.

As per the details, Customs Intelligence and Anti-Smuggling Organisation (ASO) raided a warehouse of Mashallah Electronics in Multan on a tip-off and recovered 50 non-duty/taxes paid air conditioners of Gree brand. Custom authorities asked the owner to produce the import documents but he could not give any relevant document regarding the import of air conditioners.
