Multan Customs tightens security for safety of employees & visitors

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement & Compliance beefed up security at Customs House to prevent any unwanted situation for safety of officers, employees, visitors and their vehicles.

Multan Customs has directed to observe strict security measures in Customs House in the light of Ministry of Interior’s circular and directed them that all visitors who visit Customs House should be in possession of CNIC and receptionist has been asked to enter identity card number along with cell numbers and other particulars of visitors in the register.

Multan Customs Collectorate has directed security staff to remain alert after the directions of Ministry of Interior and ensure that all visitors’ vehicles and motorcycles should parked at the designated area of parking and security staff would also be deployed at parking.

Multan Customs security will also issue vehicles parking cards to motor cars and motorcycles respectively from the visitors.

Multan Customs official vehicles and vehicles used for anti-smuggling operations will be exempted from the security. Inspector Security, Customs House Multan will properly examine every visitor and visitors name will also be registered on the entrance register for security reasons. Customs House security will also submit monthly report to the Collector MCC Multan.

Multan Customs Collectorate will also conduct desk audit of the visitor’s record on quarterly basis to ensure transparency
