MULTAN: In a proactive move to ensure seamless operations during the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, the Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Multan has finalized an extensive duty plan, reinforcing both security and operational efficiency at Customs House Multan.
Under the directives of Deputy Collector Maqbool Hussain, the administration branch has meticulously structured duty rosters, assigning specialized shifts to Customs personnel throughout the holiday period. To ensure uninterrupted services, four dedicated shifts have been formulated, each comprising four employees, including a Customs inspector. This structured approach is aimed at maintaining essential operations without disruption.
The special Eid duty schedule will commence from midnight on April 31st March, extending until April 3rd, 2025. Each shift will cover a six-hour operational window, ensuring round-the-clock vigilance and service continuity during the festive season. Moreover, the schedule is flexible, allowing adjustments based on the official moon sighting announcement.
Security remains a focal point of this initiative, with designated inspectors assuming leadership roles within their respective shifts. Their responsibilities extend to deploying personnel at strategic locations, including the main gate, office premises, and residential quarters, ensuring comprehensive coverage. Furthermore, these officials will oversee the attendance and operational readiness of Class IV staff within their allocated duty slots.
