Multan Customs to award merit certificates to five officials ‏

MULTAN: The Customs Department will award merit certificates to five customs officials for their outstanding performance during the year.

The Customs Collectorate has nominated five customs employees to award them merit certificate, including Assistant Collector Faizan Badar, for their sound performance in the assigned tasks.

One of the youngest officials and active Assistant Collector Faizan Badar joined the Customs Department as assistant collector and his first place of posting was Multan. He has served in the different departments, including Anti-Smuggling Organization, Multan Dry Port and recently Multan International Airport.

After observing his good performance in his assigned tasks, Collector Sarfraz Ahmad Warraich recommended his name for the merit Certificate. This award will create sense of responsibility among the officials.

Four other customs employees, who will be given awards, are Inspector Muhammad Arshad Javed, Inspector Zafar Iqbal Khan (audit), Muhammad Naveed Iqbal (accounts branch) and Muhammad Imran Khan (LDC). Chief Collector Customs Rozi Khan Burki will preside the awards giving ceremony on behalf of World Customs Organization Secretary General Kunio Mikuriya.

These employees will attend the World Customs Day ceremony in the Chief Collector Customs Office in Lahore.
