Multan Customs to hold auction of confiscated goods and vehicles today

MULTAN: The Customs Collectorate will hold auction of confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods on Monday May 22 (today).

According to details, Multan Customs will present 9 various lots of confiscated vehicles for public sale including Toyota Hiace van, Toyota Corolla (G), Toyota Corolla, Toyota Axio, Toyota Corolla X and others. These impounded vehicles are selected for auction after completion of their forensic examination of laboratory. All these confiscated vehicles were ripe up for the auction after the completion of legal procedure from Customs Adjudication.

The Customs Collectorate will also offer 32 confiscated lots of miscellaneous goods including HSD oil, mobil oil, grease, art silk cloth, foreign origin auto brushing, welding electrodes, old  and used telephone sets of different brands, oil tanks, memory cards, CCTV cameras, dry batteries, cosmetics, blankets, satellite HD box, various brands of LEDs, artificial gold ornaments, air-conditioners and others.

The Customs Collectorate has displayed banners outside Customs House for the promotion of auction and given advertisement in newspaper to attract the attention of general public. All these presented vehicles and goods in the auction were seized by Anti-Smuggling Organization in their various actions. Auction of seized vehicles and goods will be held in Multan Customs House.

Assistant Collector Zohaib Sandhila will supervise the whole auction process along with Inspector Zia Bhatti.
