MULTAN: The Customs Multan is all set to take final disciplinary action on department level in respect of dismissing a soldier (sepoy) due to his uninformed absence from the service for two years.
The Customs sepoy Aziz Qureshi is absent from his duty without any intimation from last two years. The Customs Multan sends various notices to him during this period regarding his absence but he did not appear even a single time before the departmental inquiry committee so the department has decided to take the disciplinary action very soon to dismiss him from service. It is learnt that Aziz Qureshi is nominated as main suspect in fake registration of smuggled vehicles.
